Erik S. Velie, Principal
Mr. Velie is the founder of Victory Law group, LLP. Mr Velie's practice primarily involves the representation of individual and commercial entities in civil litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Velie primarily represent litigation related clients in matters involving real estate litigation, transactional matters, construction disputes, commercial contract disputes, internet disputes, employment disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, bankruptcy, tort, personal injury claims, corporate partnerships, and shareholder disputes.
Mr. Velie earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Southern California School of Law. Prior to attending USC Law School, Mr. Velie attended Loyola Law School where he was in the top 15% of his class after his first year. Prior to graduation, Mr. Velie externed for Honorable Judge Erithe A. Smith at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana, California. Before attending USC Law School, Mr. Velie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from San Diego State University. Mr. Velie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a distinction in Finance. In addition Mr. Velie graduated from San Diego State's inaugural Business Honors Program, and earned membership into Phi Beta Kappa's honor society. Mr. Velie also studied Finance at the Balliol College of Economics at Oxford University in England during which time he earned a membership in the Oxford Union.
Mr. Velie has been recognized as the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Rising Star with Super Lawyers, and is also an AV® Rated Attorney with Martindal Hubbel. Mr. Velie has also been recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 Litigation Lawyers in the State of California for 2017.
Michael Zelman, Partner
Mr. Zelman's practice involves representing employees in all aspects of employment litigation. He has experience with single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits in state and federal courts in California. Mr. Zelman has represented and advocated for clients involved in disability, age, sexual orientation, and race based discrimination cases. He has represented employee clients victimized by sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases. Additionally, he has successfully litigated for clients involved in wage and hour disputes.
Mr. Zelman has experience in all aspects of civil litigation from inception to jury verdict. Prior to joining Victory Law Group, Mr. Zelman was an associate attorney at Pairavi Law in Los Angeles, Ca. Before that, Mr. Zelman negotiated deals as a business affairs executive for LD Entertainment.

Rastin Ashtiani practice is focused on business litigation and white-collar criminal defense. He actively represents individuals, professionals, financial institutions, private and public companies in Federal and State courts in California. Rastin Ashtiani has handles litigation cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, premises and automobile liability matters. He has extensive experience handling complex litigation through trial, and defending against criminal charges brought by local, state and federal prosecutors. Rastin Ashtiani graduated from the University of California, Irvine and received his Juris Doctorate from Chapman University.

Darius Amiri is the founder and managing attorney of the Immigration Practice Group at Victory Law Group, LLP.
Mr. Amiri’s law practice is 100% dedicated to Immigration and Nationality Law. He has successfully handled thousands of immigration cases ranging from deportation defense, bond hearings, and asylum proceedings to family petitions and employment and business based immigration. Mr. Amiri’s client portfolio consists of nationalities from all over the globe. Mr. Amiri’s immigration practice extends all over the State of California and Arizona, and he is licensed to appear in Immigration Courts across the country, in U.S. District Court in Arizona, and in the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Amiri earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he focused on civil justice and mediation. Mr. Amiri attended the University of California, San Diego where he earned degrees in World Literature and International Relations, one of the most prestigious programs in the country.
Mr. Amiri’s career representing foreign nationals and their families in complex immigration matters came together quite naturally- he is the son of an Iranian immigrant who became a naturalized U.S. citizen and then immigrated his own family to the United States during a time of political and social upheaval in his home country. Mr. Amiri has spent his life immersed in different cultures, he learned Spanish on mission trips with his church to Baja California, Mexico, and refined his language skills while studying abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla, in Seville, Spain. , where he graduated with distinction.
When he is not litigating a case in the courtroom or accompanying a client to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for an interview, Mr. Amiri enjoys volunteering, listening to music, cooking, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
